Analog adapter boards can be plugged in to the three analog adapter sockets on the carrier board. Several analog adapter boards with affordable and slow ADCs up to high-end and low-latency ADCs are possible. Currently three types of analog adapter boards are implemented:
- Slow and affordable with 125 kSPS@12 Bit resolution
- Fast and high-end with 65 MSPS@12 Bit resolution
- Precise with 5 MSPS@16 Bit resolution
All analog adapter board provide a programmable fault detection and a single-ended SPI connection to the FPGA.
